Recent Works
We strive to feed the soil and the soul through thoughtful applications of food production and outdoor living. Here are a few examples of recently completed projects.

Quartzite and Cucumbers
Our clients wanted to re-invigorate their backyard and create comfortable circulation through the space. Where a previous uneven patio existed, we re-graded and installed a new patio with a uniform design language of Idaho quartzite flagstone and Arizona Buff stripstone. They also wanted an expanded growing space for annual food production, so we worked together to design and build a custom keyhole raised bed, oriented North- South to maximize solar gain.

Pergolas and Peppers
When you think of outdoor- living, this project has it all: pergolas, varied outdoor seating depending on the event or mood, a fire pit, and an outdoor kitchen for grilling. To bolster the backyard living space, we completely transformed the front yard to be a haven for pollinators, leaning heavily on native forbs and grasses. This project is a quintessential example of a "Living Landscape" as it encourages the homeowners and their guests to spend more time building relationship with the myriad beings they share the space with.

Fire and Water
While this project is still in its infancy with two more phases planned, we had a lovely time building out the functional outdoor living spaces. Custom raised beds, arbors, a dense, fire-wise pollinator garden and shortgrass prairie installation are but a few of the features that will be coming down the road. A woodland planting is bolstered by a tranquil water feature and custom, gas firepit for enjoyment all season long.
